Awesome content curation roundup, Kevin! I definitely agree, content curation is certainly becoming a BIG deal in online. Not to mention it’s one of the very best ways to drive a ton of traffic. I’ve been utilizing content curation sites like Scoop.it, Paper.li, and community content curation sites like BizSugar.com (where I discovered your post) to drive massive amounts of traffic to my blog.

What you’ve just done here in this post is content curation. :) I even do my own content curation through weekly link roundups on my blog as well. It’s a fantastic way to send and receive traffic, build relationships with influencers and fellow bloggers, leverage other people’s content while lightening my content creation load, and diversify the content my readers receive, all in one fell swoop!

Thanks for sharing this awesome post with our BizSugar community. We’re glad to have you!

    Ti

As you say, using curated content has a lot of benefits for both bloggers and their readers. Thank you for the comment Ti and for the welcome to the BizSugar community ;)

  4. great great post Kevin! Thank you for sharing – I wanted to add one more resource (actually 1 resource and 1 infographic) to your comments – I run a site and a linkedin group http://www.contentcurationmarketing.com where we curate all kinds of usefully information from curation 101 to trends in curation to what’s next in curation. We are planning a site-redesign in the next month or so but the content is going to be consistent, just the look and feel will update. Also, the LinkedIn group has almost 1000 active members – it’s called Content Curators. Lastly, the infographic on the trend that shows content marketing is on the rise! When it comes to content curation my weapon of choice is Scoop.it.
In the past I used Diigo but the interface is somewhat boring compared to Scoop.it. Thanks for posting all of those descriptions. I like Beth’s and Hiedi’s the most.

Content curation is great because you get to share great content with your readers from around the internet and it’s honestly a lot quicker to create a curated post than writing a regular article. So it’s a win-win situation for both you and your readers ;)
