As discussed in my last post about how to get more retweets, Facebook likes and Google plus ones, social media marketing is an extremely important element in getting your content more exposure.
In addition to the tips detailed in that post, here are some resources you can use to get you more twitter followers, Retweets, Facebook likes and Google +1′s.
Be sure to bookmark this post as I will be updating it as I find new resources.
- JustRetweet – With JustRetweet, you can earn (or buy) credits to get Twitter followers as well as your content retweeted, liked on Facebook and Google +1′s. This post has gotten over 130 retweets, 20 likes and four +1′s mostly from this one resource alone! JustRetweet is also great for building relationships and finding quality blogs to comment on.
- Traffup (added on Jan. 14, 2013) – This site has become my second favorite site behind JustRetweet because of how fast I get retweets. In a little over an hour, one of my tweets was retweeted 5 times. I’m sure it would’ve been a lot more if I didn’t run out of credits (or points as they call them on Traffup). With Traffup, you can get twitter followers, your tweets retweeted and traffic to your site. I’m personally only using them for retweets at the moment.
- EasyRetweet – While not as good as JustRetweet in my opinion, EasyRetweet is still pretty good at getting your content retweeted. This site can also get you twitter followers, “website hits,” and they have a few other features, but I personally only use EasyRetweets to get… retweets.
- Twiends – With Twiends, you can easily and effortlessly get twitter followers. The concept is similar to the two sites above where you earn credits to get more followers (and people will earn credits themselves by following you).
- Twitter Backlinks – This is pretty much a set it and forget it kind of site for getting retweets. The big difference from the previously mentioned sites being that this service is not free. According to their site:
“TwitterBacklinks is a service that generates a huge buzz and social following for your Twitter Status Update. Our Massive network has thousands and thousands of unique users all standing by ready to spread the word about your message/site. Some of these user accounts have been established for years so they come with a ton of authority and power.”
- Digg Digg – This is a really cool, free WordPress plugin that I personally use on this blog. Notice the floating social buttons to the left of this post? Those were easily added using this plugin. It makes it really easy for your readers to socially share your content across many social platforms.
Well, there you have it! A few of the resources that I personally use to get my content more exposure through Twitter retweets, Facebook likes and Google +1′s. If you’re struggling to get your content shared, then I highly recommend you check out some or all of these resources.
What about you? Any social marketing resources that you use that you care to share? Let me know in the comments below!

Hi Kevin,
With me I’m soo in love with Justretweet. They’re the best.
I agree Cudjoe, JustRetweet is really great. As I mention above, JustRetweet isn’t only great for getting more twitter followers and retweets, likes and plus ones for your content, it is also great for building relationships and finding quality blogs to comment on. And another thing I find with JustRetweet over it’s competitors is that the sites that members advertise in their tweets are of much better quality. That makes it so much easier to WANT to share their content via retweets, likes and plus ones.
Thank you again for taking the time to comment on a post

Toshiba Burton recently posted…Tweeting For Lead Generation 5 Tips To Help Build Your List
Great question Toshiba! When it comes to getting retweets (or retweeting other peoples tweets) I have never had a problem using all of the resources together. The only time I had an issue was when I was testing twiends a while back. I tried to follow too many users in a very short time span (within a few minutes) and got my account temporarily suspended. It was a stupid move on my part, but it was very easy to unsuspend my account (took only about a couple of minutes).
So my advice would be to take it slow when trying to build up your twitter followers using a site like this. It’s great for building up your followers, but can hurt you if you abuse their system.

Happy New Year Kevin!
I use 4 of the tools you mention above with good results. In fact, EasyRetweet was my creation and I sold it out in Dec 2012. Traffup is most active of these retweet sites. Well, quality is some other issue. Twiends is old player in the game with fast results too. I have seen many big guys on it.
Thanks for sharing the list

THANK YOU! Obviously I came to this post looking for information on getting more engagement from Twitter – but I wasn’t expecting to find the plugin that I’ve been looking for.
I’ve wanted one of those floating social media bars, but had no idea how to go about getting one without paying a bunch of money for it. I grabbed Digg Digg, got it set up, and it’s ready to be clicked on my blog.
Thank you so much for sharing that. I’m thrilled.

These services are great! Thank you for compiling them into this list. If it’s not too much to ask, could you provide us with some sort of guidelines as to what we should or should not do to avoid having our accounts limited? It took me forever to join Twitter, and once I did, I got temporarily banned on the 2nd day because I attempted to follow all of the people (friend, family and coworkers) who had harassed me into joining. I guess it was too much too soon.
As far as followers are concerned, you can check out Twitters “Following Rules and Best Practices” guide. As for retweets and tweet limits, you can check out their “About Twitter Limits” page.
Hope these links help and thank you for commenting

Hi Kevin,
Well I’m using mostly JustRetweet and Triberr at the moment and they both work great.
I really like JustRetweet because it’s easy to earn credits and at the same time I share useful information with my followers, which is my main goal always.
Thanks for sharing these tools, I’m definitely gonna check out some of them.
Have a great day, cheers.

because i am still searching for other techniques to increase my twitter followers without tweet adder.. i know some who used tweet adder that were suspended by twitter. i just fear suspension that is why i am hesitant to use it.

I think Tweet Adder is like many other tools out there… it depends on the user and how they use the software. They can use it responsibly or irresponsibly. At the end of the day, you should really only use Tweet Adder or any other tool if you feel comfortable doing so.

Those are pretty neat tools for twitter. I just started using twitter and plan on getting a lot of followers on my account. I am going to try out justretweet, and will hopefully help me out. Is tweetdeck also a good tool? I know that it doesn’t get you followers it just helps you post quicker on your twiiter and facebook.
I’ve never personally used TweetDeck, but I hear it’s a pretty good tool. I use HootSuite myself.

Kevin Ocasio recently posted…Dead Simple Way to Get More Retweets & Twitter Followers [JustRetweet Review]
I never knew there were resources like these out there, thanks for the post! I’ve just been re-tweeting everything by myself and it’s been helping, but I feel I would have more of a following if I utilized these websites.
Thank you for these resources. I’ve bookmarked your links to sign up for most of them but the link for EasyRetweet doesn’t work correctly. Using your affiliate link, I get a fatal error for some reason. I bookmarked it, anyway, to try again later in case it’s a temporary glitch. I’d rather give you the credit since you pointed out the resource so I hope it works later. If not, you’ll be getting a referral for the others.
Seems like they were having problems and still appear to be having issues with their referral links. I’ve updated it to lead you to their home page without my referral link so you (and anyone else who wants to) can go ahead and join EasyRetweet. Thank you for letting me know and for joining the other programs through my referral links. And thank for for stopping by and commenting

Kevin Ocasio recently posted…Your Go To List of Outsourcing Resources!
My biggest concern is quality. Sure, you can buy or earn credits to get your content retweeted, but those people who are RTing…. do they have real followers or fake ones? Do they even have followers? Are they going to be interested in my content at all? I find that all too often, it’s a waste of time.
Hi Jessi,
There are tons of sites like the ones listed above all over the internet. Most are definitely a waste of time, which is why I only listed the ones above. These are sites that I’ve had success using, especially JustRetweet.
With the exception of “Twitter Backlinks,” they’re all free to try. You can try them and see how they work for you and your business. If they do work for you, great, but if not, you simply don’t use them anymore.

I have also started using Digg Digg and Twiends. Will check out how these resources will go.
I have actually tried to publish on Digg before and the site makes it very complicated to do so. I emailed them about this, but never received a response from them. Another tip that you may want to include is using a site called Vagex, where you can exchange Youtube views.
I find that the best way to get twitter followers is to find the top ten twitter accounts with the most followers in your niche, follow those top twitter accounts and unfollow them repeatedly and then your name will appear at the top of their follow list frequently. their follows will see your account and then follow you. I managed to accumulate over 100 followers in just over an hour by doing this. Then you can tweet your content out to them.
Hi Kevin,
Funnily enough I found this via Just Retweet – its a great platform for finding good content and sharing it!
I’m sure there are a lot of people that just hit the RT / share buttons without reading the content.
I am not one of those however
You’ve given me some other cool tools to look at so thanks for this great post!
